Home/How we help

When you can't be there, we can

Sometimes your loved one simply needs someone there. Our Home Visit & Companionship Service provides friendly, practical support for loved ones who may need a helping hand, some company, or reassurance throughout the day.

How we can help

Tailored around the individual

Whether you're working, living far away, or simply unable to be there as often as you'd like, we can provide trusted support when it matters most. Our visits can be tailored around your loved one's individual needs and may include:

Companionship and conversation

Spending quality time together, enjoying a cup of tea, going for a walk or simply having someone there.

Hospital and appointment support

Accompanying your loved one to hospital, medical appointments or other important appointments when appropriate.

Meal preparation

Preparing a fresh lunch, light meal or snack.

Practical errands

Helping with shopping, collecting prescriptions or other everyday tasks.

Light household support

Helping to keep things tidy and comfortable around the house.

Welfare visits

Checking in on your loved one and providing reassurance to family members that they are safe and well.

Getting out and about

Accompanying them on walks, to local activities, appointments or simply out for a change of scenery.

Days out

Garden centres, scenic drives, seaside trips and local attractions.

Respite for family

Giving family members peace of mind and a little time for themselves, knowing their loved one has friendly company and support.

Technology support

Help with the TV, phone, tablet, WiFi and anything else that has stopped behaving itself.

Paperwork support

Keeping letters, forms, bills and calendars in order.

Recuperation support

Comfort and help during recovery after surgery or illness.

More than a visit

Kind, respectful and reliable support

We understand that asking for help can feel difficult. Our aim is to provide support that helps your loved one remain independent, connected and comfortable in their own home.

Every visit is personal, flexible and centred around the individual, because everyone deserves to feel cared for, listened to and valued.

When you can't be there, let us be there for them.

  • Local, friendly and fully DBS checked
  • Flexible visits to suit you
  • Tailored support for your needs
  • Helping you stay independent
  • Peace of mind, knowing someone is there when you can't be

How it works

Straightforward from the first phone call

A conversation

Call or send an enquiry and we'll have a proper chat about the situation. No forms to wade through, no obligation, and no pressure at the end of it.

A visit that fits

We agree what would genuinely help and how often, whether that's an hour a week or several visits while recuperating. Nothing is fixed for good.

A familiar face

The same person comes each time, so trust builds and the visits become something to look forward to rather than something to arrange.

Prices

Affordable, with no long contracts

Every situation is different, so the honest answer is that the best place to start is a conversation. Tell us what would help and we'll be straight with you about what it costs and how often it's worth coming.
